It does not require any network setup or cabling. Simply add the drive containing the Novell volume to a DOS or Windows machine, reboot, and start NEMO. The Novell file system will be mounted automatically and you can copy files between the Novell partition and the DOS/Windows partition. CAPTAIN NEMO looks like and is as easy to use as a DOS based file manager, but allows you to access all the data on the Novell drive. CAPTAIN NEMO is fast. A typical 1GB Novell drive is copied within 15 minutes. This tools is a must-have for a Novell network administrator. INSTALLATION Unzip the file NEMOXXX.ZIP into the directory you want to run CAPTAIN NEMO from. CAPTAIN NEMO runs without further preparations under WINDOWS and DOS. RUNNING CAPTAIN NEMO As soon as you started the NEMO.EXE you will see a window containing the accessible DOS and NOVELL drives. After choosing the desired entry the corresponding drive will be mounted. Later you can mount further drives by entering this window again (F3-Drives). DOS drives are displayed as drive letters. NOVELL drives are displayed using the notation 'HDxxx/PARx/VOLUME:' where 'HDxxx' is the physical drive number (e.g. 'HD129'), 'PARx' is the partition number (between 1 and 4, e.g. 'PAR1') and 'VOLUME' is the name of the Novell volume (e.g. 'SYS'). REGISTRATION The shareware version of CAPTAIN NEMO allows you to view the content of a Novell drive. If you want to copy the file to a DOS drive you need to register the software.
